The meeting started off on a good note. They were discussing the rules and keeping order. Noone was interrupting or yelling too much. Once they started talking about the beast though, the meeting fell into chaos. Talking of the beast and giving it a form that they could be afraid of, just increased the fear. The beast drove the children to madness, especially Jack. At first being denied the ability to hunt all the time made him mad, but when Ralph said the hunters couldn't kill the beast, he knew it was true but he hid it and acted all brave and like a leader and seperated from the tribe.
What meeting exactly? Do not forget to use the present tense. Also, this would be more insightful if you had support from the book (a passage or quotation to back up your words.)

People barely listened to what Ralph was trying to sya, yelling and hollering about too much talk, and "To many things!" Jack eventually took over the meeting and led everyone off away from the platform. While Ralph tried to lay down rules, it was not a success.
