I don't realy see how to arrange them, but I will analyze them. The fire going out was very bad, because they did not know the next time that a ship would be anywhere even near the Island. It also showed that Jack was irresponsible. It also shows that no matter what Ralph does, he will never be able to totally control the action of the others. The other main event that heppened in chapter 4 was that Jack broke Piggy's glasses. This showed didrespect for Piggy be essentially blinding him, regardless of the fact that he is the smartest person on the island and listening to him would be the best option for survival.
In chronological order: 1. The littluns making their sandcastles and how they treated Percival, shows how the island might end up, in chaos. 2. Jack brings the boys hunting with him. He causes problems by doing this and everyone gets mad at him. 3. Ralph sees the ship, then runs up to the mountain. Seeing the fire out and losing the possibility of rescue, he has to contemplate how the island is being run. 4.Jack returns to the empty fire and arguments erupt. This is the first time the two main leaders argue about something. 5. Piggy's specs are broken, and he becomes very angry. This makes Piggy hate Jack and he no longer has any respect for him.
